One to one classesStudentsThe course is designed for:
Objectives of classesObjectives of the course are defined by a student together with our director of studies. The same applies to the syllabus - it is defined after a series of individual sessions when the plan is settled together. This lets us better identify student's expectations and a student can plan pace and learning points to achieve what they have planned in the right time. How we workFrequency and pace of classes are defined individually depending on student's needs. Some students opt for a few hours a day for a week or two, while others choose a less intensive course more extended in time. Teaching aidsThe decision is made by a student. Some students have their favourite handbooks, others follow teacher's suggestions. There are no rigid rules. There is no need to use any handbooks at all - they can be replaced by authentic materials such as newspaper cuttings or video recording in French. Everything depends on student's individual needs. Ways of conducting classesDuring initial interview we ask about student's learning style and choose a way of teaching to achieve optimum effects in possibly short time. This is particularly important in courses of French for special purposes, when a student is prepared for well defined communication tasks. EvaluationAt the end of the course a short test checking knowledge and skills from all the classes is recommended. Yet, this test is an option and students do not need to take it. CenyPrice of one to one classes is defined individually depending on student's needs - type of course (business, general), intensity etc. Basic price of a lesson of General French:
