STUDENTS

The course is designed for:

• adults,
• teens over 16,

who

• are beginning to learn French,
• have learnt at school or on courses and would now like to continue on more advanced level.

To enrol you need to fill in a test and have an interview with a teacher to assess your language competence level.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CLASSES

• Practising all language skills: listening and understanding, understanding written text, writing, speaking,
• Smooth use of grammar and vocabulary,
• Getting to know French and francophone culture.

Particular objectives for levels are defined in the European Framework of Reference. European Framework of Reference.

HOW WE WORK:

• Small groups: 4-7 people,
• 60h teaching hours a month, plus 6h FREE workshops on language and culture,
• Classes twice a week - 2 teaching hours each or once a week - 4 teaching hours,
• Morning, afternoon and evening courses,
• Polish and French teachers,
• The whole course consists of 13 semesters

• Handbooks from Hachette and CLE International: Alter ego1, Alter ego 2, Alter ego 3, Alter ego 4, Panorama 4, included in the course price!
• Press articles,
• Books, cartoons,
• audio and video recordings,
• teachers' materials.

WAY OF CONDUCTING CLASSES:

First of all:

• Role plays,

As well as:

• simulating debates,
• analysis of written forms and writing them at home,
• grammar taught via playing,
• reading press articles and fragments of literary works,
• listening to radio and TV programs,

EVALUATION:

• 1 or 2 two tests checking current material, to give feedback for students and teacher
• The final test covering: grammar and vocabulary from the course testing the following language competences: understanding written text, listening, speaking and writing.

The final test is the basis for classifying a student for the next level and issuing a certificate of the course completion.
