• general exploration of civilisation in the French speaking countries
• discovering particular cultural phenomena of francophone culture
• practising all language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing)

How we work

• Small groups: 4-7 people,
• 30 teaching hours
• Classes twice a week 2 teaching hours,
• Afternoon and evening classes,
• two levels: A2 and B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Way of conducting classes

• Discovering phenomena of francophone culture,
• Analysing songs, fragments of films, fragments of literature, comparison
• Presenting culture phenomena prepared by cultures,
• Discussion

Topics

• Francophonie en question- niveau A2: : Europe, Caribbean Islands, Northern America, Arabic countries, South and East Asia, Atlantic Ocean isles, Africa, Indian Ocean isles.
• Francophonie en question- niveau B1: dancing, music, celebrations and local traditions, games, cuisine, language, literature, film.

Evaluation

• Getting credits for the course is based on attendance and participating in the final quiz on francophone culture.
