About workshops

Workshops are additional theme-based classes organized within the general course but representing different language levels. At the beginning of each semester every student receives a list of workshops? topics and dates, then he can enrol for 3 chosen classes. The duration of each workshop is 1,5 h.

Objectives

The aim of these additional classes is to improve your language skills, learn about culture of France and French-speaking countries as well as relax in a fun atmosphere. On one hand these classes enable to work on your weak points, practice some difficult grammar issues and twist your tongue while practicing difficult French pronunciation. But on the other hand these workshops allow you to learn about topics which are not covered by the general course.

Topics

Our focus is on culture ! A lot of topics are related to the artistic achievements of famous writers or painters. But there are also workshops related to French cuisine, regional proverbs or comics. For those who look for entertainment there are classes during which you can play Scrabble or Awalé ? an exotic game from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. And if you feel a little bit scared of speaking French we would like to invite you to a pub with one of our native-speakers. It will be certainly easier for you to talk in French in such a relax atmosphere.
 
All the topics are adapted to the level of students? competences and they complete the course programme in an interesting way.

Dates

Workshops take place every Friday and they last 1,5 h. One topic is repeated so that you can choose the most suitable date for you.
