VOILA is the first French teaching school in Poland to hold the quality certificate issued by PASE

We are very pleased to inform you that the teaching quality at the VOILA French Language Centre has been certified by PASE. VOILA French Language Centre is the first French teaching school in Poland to be awarded the PASE-quality certificate which confirms its professional organization and top quality teaching.

What is PASE?

PASE means Polish Association for Standards in Teaching Foreign Languages. It was founded in 1993 and its main goal is to monitor and promote high quality teaching of foreign languages. It issues PASE-quality certificates for institutions which fulfill the requirements of modern teaching standards and offer high standards of services to their students.

Inspection of PASE

The inspection was carried out in VOILA Centre on 28th October 2008 by two independent PASE examiners, coming from different cities than the seat of the school. During the inspection the representatives of PASE carefully examined:

• teachers? qualifications - by checking their educational background of teaching French and through interviews ( 100% of our teachers have the required qualifications)
• teaching quality ? by visiting lessons and by interviews with students
• teaching supervision - by a detailed examination of documents concerning supervised lessons, meetings and training courses.
• professional management of the school - by controlling documents related to the management of the school and by detailed interviews with the school managers, employees and teachers
• teaching resources - by examining the lesson schedules, library for the teachers
• accuracy of information published in advertisements ? by controlling all advertisements of the Centre

PASE-certificate

On the basis of the detailed examination of VOILA French Language Centre, the school has joined the group of language schools awarded the PASE-quality certificate and is entitled to use it for 3 years since the date of the inspection.

VOILA Centre is constantly improving the standards of the school in order to maintain the PASE-quality certificate.

We are the only school in Poland using RDQL!

Our school focuses on broadly defined quality of teaching: interesting and effective courses, interesting additional classes as well as quick access to information or friendly space for students. In order to let Voil? centre offer top quality of teaching and to keep our students satisfied with courses, we decided to control quality of offered services in a systematic way.

Thus, we have implemented RDQL system (Référentiel démarche qualité pour les organisations de formation en langues). It has been prepared especially for such centres as VOILA. It enables assessing teaching syllabus in our school, students? satisfaction, teachers? qualifications and co-operation of teaching staff. RDQL focuses mainly on individual work of students at school thanks to access to library, press or other materials. RDQL enables assessment of quality of initial test and evaluation used to assign students to groups at the beginning of each semester, as well as those which control students? work in the whole course. RDQL also takes into account participating in all sorts of events promoting culture and co-operation with respective organisations.

Professional quality tests let us organise courses in the optimum way, prepare workshops and create a friendly place where students can spend time ?as Frenchmen do?. We give clear and quick responses to all questions received by mail and phone, we clearly present the rules of the school and in courses. Yet, we are open to all suggestions as French is our common passion!
